The vision of the Centre for Settlement Studies is to ride on the leadership of KNUST to become a centre of excellence in urban research and uptake in Africa.

Mission

The mission of Centre for Settlement Studies is to conduct community impact research into human settlements development and planning, housing and construction issues generally and to devise interventions targeted primarily towards addressing the socio-economic needs of the rural and urban poor.
